Why Us:

Movement, meditation, and mindfulness come together in a dynamic virtual class suitable for all fitness levels.

With endless responsibilities on our TO DO list, we face increased stress and overwhelm, leaving us desperately seeking a mental and physical break.

The world isn’t slowing down, so it seems like we either become complacent and accept that this is just how life is, or go to the other extreme and become self-help or gym junkies constantly on the hamster wheel of society’s expectations.

We all know how dangerous this is, and we’re doing our best to cope.

So what do we do? Turn to the buzzword of the moment: self-care.

By this point in, self-care is so overused it’s basically a meme unto itself. And that’s a problem.

Don’t get us wrong: there’s nothing wrong with self-care; but it’s our approach to self-care that needs some work. It seems like it’s become a contradictory term.

Like, we know we’re supposed to be taking care of ourselves.

We know we can’t “pour from an empty cup.”

We know it’s important to recharge, refresh, rejuvenate.

We know how important it is to take care of our minds and our bodies. Of our hearts and our souls. Oh, and our relationships, our friendships, our homes, and our nails.

We know all that. What we don’t know is when or how. It seems like every day, there’s another item added to the list of must-do self-care practices, but no new hours in the day.

Honestly, where are all these people on instagram finding time to take selfies in their masks and manicures?

Self-care is SO important, and we do need to make sure we create time to prioritize ourselves in some way.

The problem is, most of us don’t have time to do ALL of it. Most of us barely have time to do any of it.

Wake up in the morning and journal. Then meditate. Run off to yoga. Then do your job. Hit the gym after work. Come home and climb in the bath with a glass of wine. Don’t forget to eat the nutritious food, do your calming breathwork, and practice gratitude every step of the way.

So what do we do? How do we find time for self-care when we’re so busy taking care of our life? How do you make sure self-care is actually soothing and restorative instead of a stressful to-do list of things everyone else says you’re supposed to do?

For us, it comes down to prioritizing three things: movement, mindset, and mind-body connection.

Because for MOST people (us included) for self care to be effective, it has to be efficient.

Which is one of the main reasons we create the Timeless Moves Virtual Class.

 
 

It’s my fourth week, and at this point your Timeless Moves class is in my schedule. Everything else has to work around my 1PM dance on Thursdays. And for real, thank you! How It Works:

The Timeless Moves experience, backed by research, is no ordinary dance class. Beyond a fun and intense dance cardio workout that can be done straight from the comfort of your own space, Timeless Moves provides an opportunity for you to connect deeply with your mind and body.

Starting with a grounding meditation, flowing into upbeat cardio choreography and ending with movement exercises and a dance party, there are practices to appeal to all different tastes and levels—a flava for everyone!

  • With all of your responsibilities, it may feel like there’s just no time to workout and that it’s easier to skip.

  • It may feel impossible to squeeze in all of your desired self-care practices in your schedule, leaving you feeling defeated and tired.

  • You may not know where to start when it comes to finding what suits you best.

We commit ourselves to creating an open space for you to be introspective and move through emotional barriers and blocks, dancing into your rawest and fullest expression.

As counterintuitive as it may feel, allotting just ONE HOUR with us for your mental and physical health will open up the spaciousness for you to relieve stress and anxiety, and step into all of your other tasks with grace and ease.

You owe it yourself to take the time for YOU. Come give yourself the gift of an all encompassing workout, while connecting with other like minded movers in our supportive community.

FAQ

What do I need to take class?

All you need is the free Zoom application, hydration, comfortable workout attire, sneakers and an open mindset. 

How long are classes?

Typically 45-60 minutes- Just enough time to break a sweat get the sweet combination of movement, mindset, and mind-body connection.

How much space do I need?

Can you do a jumping jack? Okay, you’re good. :)  All movement can be modified and tailored to your home space. 

What if I never took a dance class?

Our Timeless Moves experience is for all levels. It is not a complex choreography class. It is a judgment free cardio dance party that allows you to explore movement in your own way. It’s not about  getting the steps “right” it’s about releasing stress, letting go, and expressing yourself, all while getting a great workout.
