Emily Grant is a transformation coach, seasoned dance and fitness instructor, and mental health advocate. She's spent the past decade making waves in the entertainment industry, pioneering initiatives that inspire, uplift, and heal others through the transformative art of dance.

Given her background, it's no coincidence this native New Yorker is regarded as an authority in the mental health space, using dance as a force to drive the impactful life lessons she imparts through writing, coaching, and her social media content.

Grant's early years were marked with a diagnosis: Submucous cleft palate, a condition which prevented her speaking or hearing well. Dance quickly became an outlet through which she could express herself. Throughout her adolescent years, Grant underwent major corrective surgeries, continuing to persevere and immerse herself in the art of dance every day.

With dance as the core of her professional and academic pursuits, Grant continued her formal training at Long Island High School for the Arts, earning a scholarship to attend Adelphi University's selective dance program and allowing her to broaden her course of study. In addition to her focus on Ballet and Modern techniques, Grant developed a keen interest in the interplay between body and mind, graduating in 2009 with a degree in Psychology.

From there, Grant continued her training at New York City's acclaimed Broadway Dance Center, all the while performing alongside top artists including Ludacris and Kat Deluna, onscreen for major entertainment networks MTV and FUSE, and for renowned EDM and House DJs at iconic events like EDC.

While she still performs (her most recent appearance was on Showtime’s Billions), Grant moved into a leadership role in the dance industry with the 2011 founding of Karma & Soul. Originally a 4-piece all-woman dance troupe, K&S has since transformed into a full-service entertainment company with over 150 dancers, models, and unique specialty acts on the roster. Servicing nightlife and corporate industries all over the world, Karma & Soul performers have appeared alongside top music acts like Jason Derulo, Melky & Wyclef Jean, Nick Cannon, T-Pain, Ja Rule, Lil-Kim, DJ Khaled, and Nelly, among others.

Feeling called to serve on a deeper, more personal level, Grant pivoted again in early 2019. She currently works one-on-one with clients as a transformation coach, teaching powerhouse humans how to create connections between mind, body, and soul—and how to use the resulting synergy to expand their consciousness, improve self-awareness, and facilitate healing the underlying trauma fueling limiting beliefs.

As a mental health advocate, Grant has spoken at renowned events, sharing her story and teaching the power of dance to process trauma. In 2018, Grant began mentoring underserved youth through the non-profit organization DMF Youth, using a combination of movement and social-emotional learning.

Grant's most recent venture, Timeless Moves, is dedicated to improving the health and productivity of office professionals through motivational dance workouts tailored to employees' individual needs; igniting a mind, body and soul transformation that connects and rejuvenates all who participate.

It doesn’t stop at corporate. Grant and her founding partner went on to develop a three-month online transformational program, delivering this body and soul shifting experience to the masses.

Having spent over a decade motivating people to get up and dance at parties, mitzvahs, and Sweet 16s, bringing dance where people need it most was an obvious next step for Grant.

Whether she's motivating others as a empowerment coach and speaker, creating unparalleled experiences with Karma & Soul Entertainment, activating corporate wellness solutions at Timeless Moves or performing and instructing, working with Grant guarantees not just a high-quality experience, but one that touches the soul.
